	Flexible working options At RAA, we’re all about balance and have an approach that’s focussed on maximising flexibility in a way that works for members, teams and individuals. Our Working Flex program incorporates Flex Time, Flex Place and Flex Leave, and ultimately recognises that working flexibly means different things to different people.
	Paid parental leave Our parental leave policy is inclusive of all types of families. We offer up to 12 weeks paid parental leave for eligible parents for birth and adoption, as well as a Superannuation Guarantee for unpaid parental leave.

Development options range from technical training so you can learn new skills through to our ‘Leading at RAA’ suite of leadership development programs. Vacancies
Job advertisements are listed on our website and on sites like Seek. Job advertisements on our website contain a link to relevant position descriptions.

All applications need to be lodged via the "Apply" button on the online advertisement. Once you’ve submitted an application, you’ll get an email confirming we’ve received it.
Shortlisting
Your application will be reviewed against the selection criteria to determine if your skills, abilities and experience are a match. Be sure to apply early, as we will often get in touch with applicants prior to the closing date.

You'll receive a response within 2 weeks of submitting your application.
Interviews
If your application is shortlisted we'll be in touch to arrange an interview. We’ll ask about your skills, abilities and experience relevant to the role. It’s also an opportunity for you to find out more about the role and RAA, including our culture and values.

You should know the outcome of your interview within 1 week.
Selection
Some roles may require further testing, assessments or a pre-employment medical.

If you’re successful, you’ll get a verbal offer followed by a formal contract. You'll also need to obtain a Police Clearance.

My name is Benji and I'm a data graduate at RAA. What I really love about the grad role is that I get to rotate between different teams and roles, and that this helps me to decide what I really enjoy and what I don't like.

As part of the grad program we each receive a senior leader mentor who mentors us on personal as well as professional development.

In the grad program we get to experience different opportunities such as visiting the RAA shop, sitting in the call centres, doing a ride along with the patrol and helping out at different expos.

I love the fact that RAA has a very flexible working hours - sometimes I start early, sometimes I start a bit later and I feel like I'm in control.

The culture here is really good. Everyone here is really friendly and even when you walk down the corridor you can just see people walking with a smile on their face.

Currently I'm working on a project where we use members snapshot data as well as a whole heap of other data joining them up and creating a machine learning model that can predict what partner products they are likely to use.

So some of our partners include Woolworths, Snooze, Bounce as well as tree climb to name a few.

The grad program has helped me gain real world experience in data. As I was working my way through the final year of university I felt like I had the theory and the knowledge part all down pat, but I felt like I lacked the real world experience.

I wanted to apply what I learned at university into a real world setting and collaborating with a real team that have different experiences in data.

Summer Internship program

My favourite part about this internship is how it's very well curated to value-add to the interns. So every week we have 'lunch and learn' sessions. Those are just sessions and workshops where interns can get together and learn various soft skills, hard skills, and just more about working in the corporate space and developing your skills.

I really love in the internship program that we all get given genuinely meaningful work. It doesn't feel like we're just being treated like interns, but we're actually being treated like staff members. The work that I've been doing recently is potentially going to be included in the ongoing annual report. It's extremely exciting to me, so I really love that.

So my favourite thing about working at RAA is definitely the culture here. You can tell that the company's worked really hard to cultivate that, and everyone's been really welcoming and friendly and so supportive as well. Which, again, as you're coming out of uni and starting out in the workforce, you really need.

It's been really fantastic having been partnered with a mentor who's really respected in the business. She's been instrumental in helping me develop relationships with other people who in some ways can serve as mentors and can provide advice on how I can look to shape my career into the future.

I'm really getting out of it that these people really care about the progress you make in the time you're at the company. And they really want to know what you're enjoying, what you're struggling with, and they really care about your professional development.

The working environment at RAA is very flexible. Staff members have the opportunity and the option to work collaboratively as a team, in person, or be able to perform the same roles from home. All my managers have been really accommodating with being able to work from home or in the office, and they've been really supportive in helping us through that process as well.

RAA has a long-standing reputation of being there for its members. So one of the reasons why I chose RAA is because it's always working to not just be a better organisation, but more about how they can be better for the members.

I really love the idea of working for a really iconic local brand that everyone knows and being able to contribute to that really positive image.
RAA absolutely puts our members, our community first, and that was extremely attractive to me in a potential employer.
