- Each year the RAA (in conjunction with the other auto clubs around Australia) publishes the official guides to all of the STAR-rated accommodation in Australia.
The Accommodation Guide is a national guide featuring over 12,000 STAR-rated properties around Australia including hotels, apartments, tourist parks, bed & breakfasts and more.
The Tourist Park Guide is a national guide featuring all of the STAR-rated tourist parks around Australia and includes a listing of their facilities.
The Experience Guide is a state-based guide featuring all of the STAR-rated accommodation in that state as well as things to see and do and maps to follow.
All of these guides and more are available at any RAA Office or via our online Shop.
- Q. Are there properties who will also accomodate pets?
- Yes, the online RAA Accommodation Database indicates those properties which are "pet friendly".
Conduct an advanced accommodation search and select the 'Pet Friendly' option.
- Q. What do STAR Ratings mean?

- Q. How can I report an issue with the quality of my STAR-rated accommodation?
- Tell us! We are delighted to receive feedback, good or bad, and we encourage you to give it to us. It will only result in a more accurate and more consistent STAR Rating Scheme, which helps us, and the travellers that are walking in to the accommodation property after you.
