Will my brand new car be replaced if it is a total loss?
If you have RAA Comprehensive Car Insurance and the car is a total loss, is manufactured 2014 and after and you have insured it with us since new, your vehicle will be replaced with a brand new one as part of the Lifetime Vehicle Replacement benefit. See the PDS for more details
Will my new car be replaced if it is a total loss?
If you have RAA Comprehensive Car Insurance and your car is a total loss within 2 years of the starting date of the original registration, we will replace the vehicle with a new vehicle of the same make and model, including all on road costs, where you have purchased the vehicle brand new.
If I have an accident, where can I take my car?
RAA offers freedom of choice of repairer.
Can I choose my excess?
RAA gives you a wide selection of excess options.
Do you have an option for Windscreens and Glass?
RAA Comprehensive Car Insurance automatically cover one free glass replacement per policy term (including sunroofs, windscreens, side and rear windows)
How do I lodge a claim if I have an accident?
RAA handles all claims in South Australia. You can lodge a claim at an RAA Shop, online or over the phone.
Can a friend or family member drive my car if they’re not on the policy?
RAA has a policy which means anyone can drive your car as long as they have your permission and hold a valid driver’s licence (additional excesses may apply). If they become a regular driver of the vehicle, you need to tell us.
