RAA Recommendation

The RAA has been providing parents with child restraint advice for 30 years and can answer any of your queries. Our team of experts offer comprehensive advice on the safest child restraint available for your child at every stage of their growth - from infant through to toddler and into an adult seatbelt. The RAA Child Safety Centre provides Members free fitting of restraints purchased from the RAA, and fits other restraints for a nominal fee. In addition to this, the RAA offers Members a free checking service for restraints already fitted, with a nominal fee payable if reinstallation is required.

To speak with one our child restraint experts or organise a time for fitting or checking of a child restraint, appointments can be made by e-mailing the Child Safety Centre or by phoning 8202 4592 during business hours.

When choosing a child restraint the most important consideration is the SIZE of the child – not age. Weight and height are more accurate than age because children grow at different rates.
