The RAA has been providing parents and carers with child restraint advice for more than 40 years and can answer any of your queries. Our team of experts offer comprehensive advice on the safest child restraint available for your child at every stage of their growth - from infant through to toddler and into an adult seatbelt. Buying restraints
A selected range of recommended child restraints can now be purchased either online or at any of the RAA shops located throughout metropolitan and regional SA.
Member benefits include:
- discount on the purchase price of child restraints
- assorted discounts on the purchase price of child restraint accessories
- free installation.
Non-members are able to purchase restraints at the recommended retail price with a fee of $30 if installation is required.
Installation
The RAA Safety Centre offers an appointment only fitting and checking service to members and non-members.
Member must be present at appointment to receive the following benefits:
- free installation of child restraints into the member's vehicle
- free checking of child restraints already installed in the member's vehicle
- free trialling of child restraints in the member's vehicle
Non-members are able to have child restraints installed for a fee of $30 and checked for a fee of $15.
Child restraints are easily fitted provided the vehicle has built-in anchor points. If your vehicle is not fitted with anchor points, contact the RAA to find the location of your nearest anchorage installer.
The RAA Safety centre is located at 101 Richmond Road, Mile End, and is open Monday to Friday, between 8:30am and 5pm.
