Street Smart Primary

Narrator: RAA’s Street Smart Primary is a free road safety program available to all South Australian primary schools.

Our Road Safety Educators are qualified teachers who are passionate about road safety.

We cater for students from Reception to year six, teaching them about pedestrian, passenger, and wheeled safety.

Younger students learn how to cross the road safely using the ‘Stop, Look, Listen, Think’ strategy, as well as the importance of holding an adult's hand and safe passenger behaviour.

Our Road Safety Educators teach students about strategies they can use to stay safe when they begin to use the road system more independently.

Older students learn about responsible road use, minimising risk, the importance of safety equipment and maintaining their wheels.

There is nothing more important than keeping children safe. That's why RAA’s helping students become Street Smart.

A whole school approach is best, and each class will receive an interactive and engaging 45 minute lesson.
