SafeZone Lone Worker App
The RAA SafeZone Lone Worker App is a smartphone app that provides Australia-wide security for lone workers in vulnerable environments.
SafeZone connects directly to RAA’s 24/7 monitoring centre, which means your workers have a safety net every day of the year.
When a worker raises an alert, the monitoring centre is immediately notified of their location and can quickly determine the response required.
Whether it’s a medical emergency or a team member in danger, help is just a push of a button away.

Monitoring costs about $1 a day for single users, and discounts apply for multiple users. An RAA security expert will help you with the app download procedure.
RAA SafeZone features 4 kinds of alerts
Check-in TimerThe worker sets the countdown clock before heading into a potentially vulnerable situation. If the timer isn’t cancelled before it expires, an alert is sent to RAA’s 24/7 monitoring centre.
Emergency alertShows the worker’s location and alerts the monitoring centre that their personal safety is at risk.
First Aid alertShows the worker’s location and notifies the monitoring centre that medical help is needed.
Help callShows the worker’s location and notifies the monitoring centre that some form of help is needed, e.g. the worker may wish to report suspicious activity.
How it works
1. Timer expires or alert button pressedWhen the Check-in Timer expires or an alert button is pressed, the app will determine the worker’s location.
2. Alert and location sent to RAA alert button pressedThe location details are sent to RAA’s monitoring centre and acknowledgement of the alert is then sent to the app.
3. RAA consultant calls the workerA monitoring centre consultant will call the worker for a full understanding of the situation.
4. Help is on the wayDepending on the situation and your pre-arranged response plan, your nominated contact person and/or emergency services will be notified.
