Giving you peace of mind that your home is monitored 24/7

Get connected to our SA monitoring centre and have peace of mind that your home is secure. RAA's Monitoring Emergency Response Centre is ASIAL 1 graded, the highest security monitoring centre accreditation. Whether you need an existing security system monitored or a new security system installed, we’ll look after you.

With RAA monitoring you can expect a prompt response if your alarm is triggered or even if someone tampers with your security system.

So whether you’re at home, away on holiday or just out and about for the day, you can relax knowing you’re protected by RAA Home Security.

Why choose RAA Home Security monitoring?

  • Our monitoring centre has the highest classification

Our Adelaide-based monitoring centre has a Grade A1 rating – the highest rating recognised by ASIAL, the peak body for security professionals. We undergo regular independent audits to meet ASIAL's rigorous standards.
  • 4G wireless monitored system

RAA monitored security systems are connected wirelessly via the 4G mobile network to our monitoring centre, so there's no need for a phone line or internet connection.
  • We'll help you make the switch

Most security systems are compatible with RAA's locally based monitoring centre. We'll make the process as smooth as possible and our technicians will even perform a 'health check' on your system.

How our monitoring works

  • 1. Activating your system

When you leave the house, you can arm your system using your codepad, a remote control or app.

For peace of mind while you’re at home, you can arm selected zones, and door and window sensors (if these have been fitted). Plus, our sensors are pet friendly, so your four-legged companions can still roam your home, so long as they weigh less than 25kg.

  • 2. When the alarm goes off

If the monitoring centre detects your system's been triggered, our security staff will attempt to phone the nominated contact numbers you provided to the technician during installation.

The process is the same if you've activated your panic alarm with a remote control or on the code pad.

  • 3. Contacting you

Once we get hold of a nominated contact, our staff will check whether it’s a false alarm or if help is required.

If no one answers, or you or your contact confirm it’s not a false alarm, a security patrol will be dispatched to your address, at your cost. We may also send emergency services in some instances, like if your smoke alarm is triggered.

When you sign up to a 3-year monitoring contract, you’re entitled to one free security patrol call-out, valued at $79, per year (if needed).
