Report a road
Have you spotted a road that’s dangerous or frustrating? Let RAA’s road safety team know and we’ll investigate the issue for you.
Risky Rides 2020
Our first Risky Rides survey invited RAA members to nominate South Australia's riskiest on-road and off-road cycling infrastructure.
Road assessments
As part of RAA’s Regional Road Assessment program, our road safety team drives thousands of kilometres across the state each year, assessing the quality of our roads and highways. Guided by feedback from regional members, our experts look at everything from overtaking lanes and crumbling edges, to roadside hazards and freight routes. We use this information to lobby governments to make improvements.
Road safety audits are a formal assessment of the safety of a road or location, and RAA’s qualified road safety auditors conduct periodic audits based on the concerns of members.
RAA also submit an annual nomination for funding into the state black spot program, and periodically assess sinking service pit covers on major arterial roads.
Risky Roads survey (2019)
RAA use results of our Risky Roads survey to advocate for improvements to South Australia’s riskiest roads as nominated by RAA members.
