Where are the toll roads?
Toll roads in Queensland are all located in the greater Brisbane area and include the AirportlinkM7, Clem Jones Tunnel (CLEM7), Gateway Motorway, Go Between Bridge and the Logan Motorway. In addition to this, Legacy Way is a tunnel that is in construction which is expected to be opened in 2015.
How much does it cost?
Charges vary according to the section of each toll road that is travelled and by vehicle type. More information can be found on the Queensland Toll Roads website. There are three operators of toll roads in Queensland which include:
For most motorists, purchasing a Brisbane Road Pass from any of the above operators is a good idea. This pass is designed for infrequent or casual users that are likely to travel on multiple toll roads in Brisbane.
What if I forget to pay?
If you forget to pay for using a toll road, then expect to receive an invoice letter from either operator which then gives you 14 days to pay the toll. In addition to the cost of the toll, the late toll invoice will also contain an administration fee.
