Do I need to be a member to access Trade Assist?
Yes. RAA Trade Assist is a member-exclusive service. Make sure you’ve got your member number nearby when booking. There aren’t any additional subscription fees – you just pay for trades as you need them. -
Where can I get Trade Assist?
Trade Assist is available in metropolitan Adelaide, Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley and Fleurieu Peninsula. -
Can I use Trade Assist at a property I rent out?
Yes. If you’re a member, you can book Trade Assist for any residential property you own. You’ll just need to be there to accept, sign off and pay for all the work that’s done.

Can I get Trade Assist out to my commercial property?
Currently we only service residential properties.
How Trade Assist works

Are the tradies RAA employees?
No, they’re not employed by RAA. We work with a trusted network of licensed, experienced tradespeople. When you make a booking, we’ll refer your job to the right person, who’ll get in touch and complete the work at a time that suits you. -
Who will send my invoice?
You’ll be asked to pay the tradesperson when the work is completed. You can pay by debit or credit card (VISA or Mastercard).
You’ll get a receipt after you pay. The tradesperson will email you a tax invoice with their ABN/ACN.

What do I do if I need to cancel or change my booking?
Get in touch with us as soon as possible. To avoid any cancellation or change fees, you'll need to make changes during business hours, at least 24 hours before your scheduled booking.
If you change or cancel within 24 hours of your booking, you’ll be charged a fee. The fee will be one hour of labour or the agreed service fee — whichever is less.
Issues and support

Is there a warranty for the work done on my home?
All trades who perform work for Trade Assist will provide a 12-month guarantee on labour and workmanship for their completed repairs. Details of the warranties available for products will be provided with the products on completion of the job.

What can I do if I'm unhappy with the work completed?
Please contact the Trade Assist team to review your job by calling 8202 4988. Or, you can ask for a call back in the satisfaction survey you’ll receive by email following your job.
