Working together to fight hunger in South Australia

We’ve partnered with Foodbank SA to help tackle food poverty across the state. Foodbank is the largest food relief organisation in South Australia, providing food relief to over 135,000 South Australians every month. One third of those struggling are children.

Our Mobile Food Hub collects thousands of donations for those in need

This September, we're hosting our second community Food Drive with our partner, Foodbank, to help families most at risk of food poverty in SA.

From Monday 20 September until Friday 24 September, our Mobile Food Hub will be visiting select metro RAA shops to collect donations of non-perishable goods for those in need. Together, we're aiming to supply 20,000 meals.

Our Mobile Food Hub will visit the following locations, on the following dates, between 7:30am and 11:30am:

• Monday 20 September – Mile End, RAA member car park
• Tuesday 21 September – Mount Barker Woolworths
• Wednesday 22 September – Westfield Tea Tree Plaza car park (Woolworths entry)
• Thursday 23 September – Westfield Marion car park (Food Mall entry)
• Friday 24 September – Elizabeth City Centre car park

Plus, you can drop off your food donations at any participating RAA Shop during the week.

Not sure what to donate? Foodbank welcomes all non-perishable pantry items that are in-date, as well as personal hygiene and household items.

Some examples include:
 canned fruit
 canned vegetables
 pasta sauce
 tinned meals
 long-life milk.

You can also donate directly. Every $1 you donate provides 2 meals to a South Australian going hungry.
