RAA Energy is winding down

RAA Energy was built to give members a genuine alternative in the energy market — better value, no surprises, backed by a name you trust. We succeeded in doing just that  — for a simple monthly fee, RAA members got access to electricity usage rates without the retail mark-up.

Since we launched there has been a change to the partnership underpinning RAA Energy and despite an extensive search, we were unable to find a new partner able to continue the offer the way it was intended. There have also been positive regulatory changes in the energy market that help transparency on energy pricing that support what we set out to do.

Together, these changes mean we’ve made the decision to exit and close RAA Energy.

For current customers, rates are protected and your energy will continue to be seamlessly managed by the same underlying provider, 1st Energy. The main change is the name on the bill, and there's nothing customers need to do.

All RAA Energy customers have been contacted directly with what this means for them.

Pay your bill

There are 4 ways to pay your bill:

  1. Direct Debit or SmoothPay from your credit or debit card through our direct debit request form.
  2. Direct debit from your bank account through the RAA Energy portal.
  3. Once off payment using your credit or debit card through our online payment form.
  4. BPAY. Use your unique details on your bill to pay through your bank.
