Whether you drive a brand new Toyota HiLux or a second-hand Mazda, it's important to have an insurance policy that meets your needs. We offer four levels of car insurance in South Australia. This includes two levels of comprehensive insurance and two levels of third party insurance.

Comprehensive insurance
Comprehensive insurance offers cover for incidents like a crash, fire, storm and theft. It not only covers damage caused by your car to someone else’s car or property, it also covers damage to your own car.
There are two levels available. These are Premium Comprehensive and Standard Comprehensive Car Insurance.

Third party insurance
Third party insurance covers damage caused by your car to someone else's car or property. It doesn't cover damage to your car.

New vehicle replacement
If your brand new car is written off within 5 years (Premium Comprehensive) or 2 years (Standard Comprehensive) of registration, we'll replace it with the same model or a comparable one if unavailable. If we can’t replace it within 90 days, we’ll offer a cash settlement.

Repair or replacement of your windscreen, window or roof glass. With Premium Comprehensive, you won't pay an excess for windscreen or window glass breakage claims.
With Standard Comprehensive, if you choose the optional cover, you won't have to pay an excess for the first repair or replacement in your policy term. You may have to pay the basic excess for any more claims.

Covers the cost of a hire car following an incident, up to $90 per day for up to 21 days. Also covers you when hiring a car within Australia. If the car's damaged or stolen, we'll pay the excess you owe the hire car company, up to $4,000. You'll just pay your RAA basic excess.
