Training for every age and driving stage
Driving lessons aren’t just for new drivers – RAA offers a range of courses for more experienced motorists too. Whether you want to be a better driver or develop new skills – like towing a caravan – we have a range of courses available. We can also help with getting your overseas licence converted.
To help keep our community safe, we’re recommending both Drive School students and instructors wear face masks when in the car together. But we understand this might not always be possible for driving safety reasons.

International licence conversion
Are you new to Australia?
If you’re moving to South Australia (SA), make sure you’re driving legally and safely. Our driving instructors can help you better understand the state’s road rules.
Driving conditions and road rules can vary a lot between countries, so we recommend a 60-minute session with an instructor to get a better understanding of South Australian roads and regulations.
- If your licence is directly transferable to an SA licence, we'll show you the rules and regulations that apply on SA roads.
- Some overseas drivers may also need to pass theory, hazard perception and practical tests to qualify for an SA licence – RAA can help show you the way.
- If your licence isn't transferable, we can offer you the training you'll need to progress from a learner's permit to a provisional licence.
Our prices – Members $111 (Non-members $121)
